| Re: Using the 1h retouching method Just spend some time considering your adjustments, and seeing as a mouse would be more difficult, turn off mouse acceleration and set the mapping speed low. This should make it more controllable. Make sure you set the mouse low enough in height for ergonomic reasons. |

| Re: Using the 1h retouching method my tablet is coming in early next week, I'm pretty excited. Any specific settings I should know about? Also, what do you think about my current retouch? |

| Re: Using the 1h retouching method I'm getting a monoprice tablet (supposedly on par, if not better than some of the wacoms). Anyone know if that pressure tool with work? |

You should just test it. The important things are that you can control it with extreme precision, and that it feels natural in terms of tilt, mapping, and pressure settings. Wacoms have been the standard for many years, but the build quality has been declining. I've had more problems with usb cords and faster surface wear in recent years. You should test on a blank canvas. You should be able to make smooth accurate strokes if it is a good product. |
