Dodge and Burn Technique

This is my first time trying Dodge and Burn using 50% Gray and Soft Light Blend mode. I did use global and pixel-level dodge and burn.
As to me, the final photo look fine to me but I don't know how does it look from your view.

I think it would be easier to critique if there was a before and after image and both were decently large.
