Since this is my first post I thought I should say a little about myself. My name is Melanie, and I have been working with photoshop for about 10 years now. I had my own photography business for about 5 years, but closed shop (not making enough to live off of) but still do photography for myself, and close friends and family, as a hobby. I loved having my business, and I love photography, but I think what I enjoy most is photoshop. Even though I've used it for a decade, I am still learning new things all the time...which is good, I love to learn.
Anyway, I am practicing doing photo restoration, and would love to start my own restoration (retouching too) business someday, or do freelance work for others. So as of now I am basically on the long road of portfolio building. A friend of my sister emailed me a scan of a very old tin type photograph. It was really bad, I wasn't even sure if I could fix it. But, after hours and hours of meticulous work, I think it turned out decent. I would love to see what you all think. Let me know if you would be happy with this, as a client, and if not, what could I do to make it better? Thank you all in advance! http://i67.photobucket.com/albums/h3...SRESTOREEX.jpg
