Food Bites Back

This was inspired by the JemimaPhobia entry at Worth1000. For inspiration check out this link...The Making of JemimaPhobia

Food Bites Back

Challenge: Take an ordinary food item and change it into something that is alive and can bite back or fight back…such as a banana with a face and teeth and/or whose peels have claws.

You get the idea. Now let’s see how creative and realistic your results are!

I really like the pumpkin on the right. You utilized the lines of the pumpkin and the wrinkles on the face extremely well. The color adjustment is a pretty close match too, which really helps the face to blend in seamlessly with the pumpkin.

Now the left pumpkin doesn’t look as natural…but hey what pumpkin with a bloody face, eyes and teeth does (smile). I think the problem here is the dark outline around the face. It does not blend in as well with the pumpkin and is more obviously that it has been added.

Still a great entry and definitely one pumpkin patch I prefer to avoid!

Kudos for being the first to tackle this challenge!

Chris,
Nice manipulation. I can see this as a restaurant’s star dish.

RonDon,
Love the pun in your title...

Nicely done! That corn on the cob definitely has bite. The golden teeth remind me of golden butter. Or perhaps the corn just got his teeth capped with gold for some bling bling (smile).

Great entries everyone...keep them coming!
