Challenge: Googlography

Here's an exercise for your composition skills.

The challenge:

Go to http://maps.google.com and turn on Street View (you'll need Flash installed)
Use Street View and only Street View to compose a photo (ie: no retouching)
Capture the photo and attach here (Macs and Vista come with capture apps. Windows users can hit the "prt scr" button and then crop. Or you can use your favorite screen capture app)

As far as I can tell they only have Street View for the US, but there's lots to "photograph" here.

Remember, it's not about cute or funny or weird. It's about composition.

Hi Doug, this was very addictive. I have a lot of fun looking around areas I know, and areas I didn't know. I went down some streets I never would in real life. Here are a couple of shots I took. These are in Detroit.

This was the only address I tried that actually worked. All of the others only worked in satellite view. Drat.

This was our first house. I'm glad to see that the neighborhood hasn't gone to seed.
