Green

Although very rare in my area, I was fortunate enough to photograph a rare tree frog (possibly a female) bathing in the sun. I thought I’d share this unique experience with you.

I started by photographing the original image and made it one that would have a limited depth of field. I ran levels and corrected the colors accordingly. To enhance the fall leaves and background, I ran the Nik sunshine filter followed by a skylight filter. Although the background was already out of focus, I ran a soft blur to further smooth the background. Then of course there's the "green" frog . . .

I believe you're correct -- probably a female...

I was just browsing through this section and ran across this.
This tickled me no end.
Time to resurrect these older sections I think.

You sure found a good one, Peter. I'm sure I probably saw that when it was originally posted, but I didn't remember it. It sure brought a smile to my face.
