Too funny...an invisible mooning! Nice job remembering to edit the reflection in the puddle too.

The only thing is that you just masked out the moons; it seems that you missed out on the 3D effect. You should be able to see the inside front part of their shirts and pants allowing you to look down into their pants and up their shirts if they were truly invisible. Think of it as looking into a cylinder...you would see all the walls. Just a thought. Still a very funny photo!

re moontrain

well actually I got that... but decided the clothes from that distance would blur out the actual mooning... Glad you took it in good humor...

I made a poor choice for my first attempt and couldn't fill in the background behind the missing face. Important lesson number 1 (that applies elsewhere)--think before choosing an image to work with.

I used mostly the clone tool. In the original, the younger kids had buried the older on in leave and you could only see part of his head. It appealed to my sense of humor after removing the heads from the bodies, to put a head back on the body that was buried in leaves. I cropped a small selection from another image and pasted--adjusted size and angle using the transform tool. Reduced opacity (very slightly) on the face being pasted in.

Nicely done Cheryl and kudos for tackling this challenge! The invisible kids look like they are having fun and I like the humor of adding a head to the image.

One word of caution, when cloning remember to clone from different areas when covering up an object and to go back and fine tune your cloned area to remove any evidence of a strong pattern. If you look at the areas you cloned by the girl in pink and the girl in white you can see a strong pattern that gives away that you cloned those areas. Overall a great job!

Kissed Vixen,

I like your choice in taking a different approach and working on a cartoon. The Simpsons look good invisible. Well done!

thanks

I really like challenges like this, cause some of the contracts I get involve removing people and or objects from pictures that will be printed..

and this is a fun way to pratice that

nice idea
