Halloween Mask

With Halloween approaching I thought it might be a fun theme challenge.

Challenge:Take a photo of a person and make them over for Halloween. Try to include both the before and after photos so we can enjoy the full effect. If you need some photos, you should be able to find some copyright free ones on Google's images search.

I need a new makeup job

I'm not a Halloween person. Really I'm not.

Ever have one of THOSE days when nothing goes right? Giggle.

Janet

Uhhh, if I remembered everything I did on that Halloween mess, it would be a miracle. I've been playing with it for about two months in 5-10 minute increments.

Let's see...found Spock's ears on the internet, cut them out, pasted them onto mine, transformed them, changed the hue/sat to match.

Can't remember where I found the eyes.

Made my already pop bottle bottomed glasses even thicker with a filter or two and dodge and burn.

Whitened and elongated teeth.

Painted red lipstick.

Used smudge, liquify, and paintbrush to "hairy" up the eyebrows.

Used several techniques on hair. Paint with different brushes, dodge and burn, smudge and ???

The skeleton is the one found in a challenge here at Retouch Pro. I changed the color, tranformed it, created a shadow of it on my neck, changed the hue/sat to blend in with the rest of the pic.

and last but not least had a LOT of fun.

BOO

Oh my! Double bonus points for being the first and for posting a before photo, and one of yourself at that...heck triple bonus points!!

Those are quite the ears, fangs, eyes and eye brows you have! Better to scare the treat-or-treaters with. Great job transforming yourself. The white hair really makes those red eyes POP, and I like the finishing touch of the skeleton earring.

Don't forget to add a little bit on how you accomplsihed your transformation...layers, smudge and perhaps liquify?

Great job Janet!!

Nice touch

Janet your picture looks really good,

The eyes remind me of some Halloween crazy contact lenses i brought last year,

for those that dont know what crazy contact lenses are click . .Halloween contact lenses

I brought a pair of Blood Red contact lenses, i will have to have a go at touching my picture up with those lenses being worn and post.
