Passion of Photography proud to announce Natalia Taffarel and Jeff Fogarty's NYC High End retouching Workshop.

This Workshop is hosted by the world renowned retouching artist, Natalia Taffarel. Natalia is famous for her natural and completely seamless retouching style that is all about beauty and details. She leaves nothing a secret and holds nothing back as she explains in great detail her entire workflow and techniques. Along side Natalia Jeff Fogarty will speak about workflow and organization.

The two day retouching workshop will show Natalia's complete workflow from start to finish as she works first on a fashion image and then a beauty image, working in Adobe Photoshop CS5. The main goal of the workshop is to show and explain the entire process and techniques needed for retouching high end images. Not only does Natalia show and explain the techniques she also explains the thought process behind the techniques and why they are used or why not or when. This makes for a much more thorough and complete learning tool, with the hope that the attendees can walk away with the knowledge needed to competently evaluate an image, envision the result in the mind's eye, plan the process and execute the work needed to achieve the vision. Day 1:

Introduction of what retouching is and a dissertation of the subject.

Creating a fashion image. From start to finish showing the techniques and show how its applied to the image layer by layer.

9:00 AM to 9:45 - Coffee & Setup

9:45:00 AM to 1:00PM - Morning Session

1:00 PM to 2:00 - PM Lunch

4:00 PM to 4:15 - Coffee Break

4:15 PM to 6:00 PM Afternoon Session

Day 2:

Beauty image. Skin, hair, tips and tricks and theory and also talking business and what is involved.

2:00 PM to 6:00 PM Afternoon Session

layers, mask, channels, color, light, raw conversion, masking, The “split”, texture, D&B, color correction, gradient maps, And much more.
