TIP: E-mail and spambots

Your email address here is not visible to any spambot or search spider unless you post it in a message, so this tip is simply "don't put your email address in a forum post".

If you invite users to email you, they can get your email address easily enough by clicking "profile" under your post. And even if you've chosen to hide your email address, they can still email you via the forum interface (again, via the "profile" button).
