Exclamation Mac Running Slow

I just wanted to post a quick note on a recent problem that I have had. I am running a Mac G4 Dual Processor computer with OS X 10.3.9.

This holiday season (as I got busier), I noticed that Photoshop was working tremendously slow. It would even pause while using the healing tool, can not tell you how fustrating that is. I started doing research on Mac Speed issues and discovered that the problem was my fault. I have loaded my desktop with Widgets. I checked my Activity Monitor and was astounded to see how much memory and RAM these cool little programs were taking up. So I just want to send an FYI to all to be conservative with these programs. Expecially if you like working with large files in Photoshop (200MB files for me ).

Here is a link I found to help with Mac OS X speed... http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/performance.html
