I have an HP 8750 photo printer . It is just a little over a year old. I am having problems with it. I did not buy the extended warranty

. I need to print a large print of a collage I just made. I was about to print it when I noticed it was geyscale or all black and white. The color is not showing in the print box and I printed a small version of it and it comes out black and white. Help..This is for a Boutique I am going to attend this Saturday to show some of my collage work. Can someone help me please?? Thanks Neb
When I go to look in the printer software it was set to greyscale . I changed it and it still looked the same. How can I get my color back? Thanks Again

hi, don't know if this will help, but sometimes its simple, are you out of color ink?

If your photos are printing in black and white, make sure that you haven't selected the Print in Grayscale option in the Print dialog box (Windows) or the Grayscale option in the Color pop-up menu of the Print dialog box (Mac OS).

you can also try the printer's diagnostic and/or callibration print page. most printers these days have these. it's usually a fairly simple 'page' that is embedded in the printer or its software. there shld be a special button for printing this or a special item somewhere in their software. if that page will print in color, then i would suspect it's something to do with your file and not the printer.

if it doesnt print in color, then you're either out of ink or the machine needs some fixing, for which you'll either need to take it into the shop or contact HP's customer service/tech support.

Well guys it was a little of both. I did need a new cartridge for photo printing but that was not the problem. you know sometimes things are so easy they become hard!! I knew it was set to print in greyscale and I changed it....BUT..I did not hit apply and so it did not take. Hummm..so simple . I will always remember this one. It would go off of greyscale but till one hits APPLY it does not do the action. Oh well live and learn!!Thanks everyone!!
