Wacom Graphire 4 problem

I have a Wacom Graphire 4. I have had it for about two years. Up until yesterday it has worked flawlessly. Now it is sticking and sometimes the curser will not move. My Mac mouse works fine. Any thoughts from Wacom users?

thanks,
k

Re: Wacom Graphire 4 problem

Update drivers. Check the driver preferences. Make sure the pad isn't too near the monitor or anything else that transmits RF interference. And Wacom has some of the best phone support I've ever come across (but no 800# as I recall).

Stylus may be dead or dying.

Re: Wacom Graphire 4 problem

Graphire 4 usually comes with a mouse that works via the pad (mine did), does the mouse work OK, if it does, then as Ant says the stylus is probably the source of the problem.

Ant,

That's what I suspect. I turn it over and "tap" the erase stylus and it comes back. I'll call Wacom Monday.

thanks
