| | Nikon D80 - a missing manual? I've been using a Nikon D80 since that model first hit the market, and haven't really delved into its less obvious capabilities. I find the manual very cryptic and elliptical.
Can anyone recommend a book on the D80 that goes beyond the obvious features (modes, how to load a memory chip, etc.) and into more advanced topics?
Thanks,

Thom has a set of very good "how to" books. Quote:

I made the mistake of getting "a field guide for D70" via online purchase w/o inspecting at bookstore first. It was of limited value to me: low on tech content, contained basic "how to take photos" instruction. If you decide to go this route, look into prices for used editions. Don't pay what Amazon or Barnes/Noble are asking. |

Thanks for the advice. |
