| Eizo CG211 vs SpectraViev 2190 I am looking for new monitor - best-of-the-best - with critical accuracy in deep shadows, and print matching. I work mainly on fashion themes for wide range of magazines. Yesterday I was on presentation - I compare LaCie724, Eizo CG241W, CinemaDisplay24, Eizo CG211 and SpectraViev 2190 I am deeply impressed by Eizo CG211, but SpectraViev 2190 is even better... What do you think? thanks for any suggestions. W |

| Re: Eizo CG211 vs SpectraViev 2190 Eizo is my choice. :] reply from www.colourconfidence.com The Eizo CG211 is a better monitor than the SpectraView 2190 and we agree with you that the CG211 will be the best solution for you. Although it does not have an extra large colour gamut neither does the SpectraView 2190 - I think you were referring to the SpectraView Reference 21 monitor which it the £3,599 monitor. The colourspace of the Eizo CG211 is slightly larger than sRGB so you will have no trouble in displaying all your work correctly. In comparison there is the lower cost Eizo CG241 monitor which does have a larger colour gamut than the CG211 and is also a few inches bigger, but even so, the CG211 is considered overall as being a superior product and its cost being higher than the CG241 is accepted as being justifiable for the advantages in quality. Hope this helps you confirm your own thoughts. Best wishes Simon Latest news from Colour Confidence is available at: http://www.colourconfidence.com/newsletter |
