Calibrating a HP LP3475w

HI,
I have just calibrated my monitor(HP LP2475w) with a Monaco Optix-xr and a ASUS RADEON 9600se card, not completely happy with the outcome. Not sure what I'm looking for, but it dosn't seem to have that wow factor.

Current settings:
6500k
Black Luminance: 0.18cd/m2
White Luminance: 132.10cd/m2
Brightness: 10
Contrast: 93
R=238
G=254
B=255

At a brightness setting of 10, the screen seems a little dark for my liking. But this is what it come out to be per my readings. What do all of you think? Am I doing something wrong? I would really appreciate any help you give me.

Thank you
Herbert

A calibrated monitor will usually look duller than an uncalibrated monitor, so there's your lack of "wow". Calibration will typically darken the highlights and lighten the shadows compared to what the monitor is fully capable of.

... and in fact, 132 is actually quite high for luminance. Depending on your ambient light, and your personal preferences, you might eventually consider going down to 100.
