Computer: missing photos.

some of my photos have disappeared from my computer, strange thing is the name of the file and the thumbnail are still there (altough the photo icon doesnt appear in the thumbnail) , the prorerties is saying the files are only 1 byte in size so clearly there is nothing in the file which i find out when i try to open it and nothing happens, anyone any help or recommediations, thank you from john in a freezing cold dublin ireland.

Do not write anything else to your hard drive. Do a file search to see if the files were moved to another folder. If they appear to be nowhere, run a disk / file recovery utility. The sooner you do that, the higher your chance of being Able to recover the lost files. Regards, Murray
