Monitors: LG LCD color is unbalance

Hi, I currently bought a LG w2353v LCD and notice green hue that was evident in some light greys. Something that is common in monitors or from what I was told. I know my older Samsung LCD was fine. I've tried making some adjustments through my nvidia control panel and my LCD but with no success. I read that it was possible to tweak the colour balance in order to remove the green hue. I just don't know how. I've tried researching on this matter with not much luck. Any suggestions would be helpful.

All monitors out of the box really need to be calibrated.

You can buy a Spyder calibration system from Datacolor for about $100ish, and it'll give you great results for the price.

Even if you think your monitor is calibrated using your eye, it's likely still off by a long shot-- and the difference between a hardware calibrated monitor and an uncalibrated one is unreal.

you might also try installing the monitor software. i normally just use the windows drivers but i also know that sometimes the manufacturer's drivers may work better and, the monitor may have software that comes with it that may help.
