How do you use your tablet with a keyboard? Hey all, I am working on a project and could use some feedback. It would be greatly appreciated! 1. What do you use shortcuts for? (Picking tools, adjusting them, pulling up menus or executing functions) 2. How many different shortcuts do you use on each image you work on? 3. Do you use the express keys on your Wacom tablet or the buttons on the pen? If so for what? 4. How do you handle two or three finger shortcuts? 5. Do you use any other piece of hardware other than a keyboard or express keys to help you execute shortcuts more efficiently? (key pad etc)

Re: How do you use your tablet with a keyboard? ? I just played with the big cintiq, no mouse, no keyboard - so it took me about half a minute to transition to all dropdown menu commands. At home on my Mac I use everything - right click mouse 'cuz I've just moved from a Windows machine to Mac, mouse click for making curved lines with the pen tool & keyboard shortcuts for various and sundry. I've tried to program my bamboo's buttons but it seems to 'forget' and it's too much trouble to reprogram them...It would be really cool if the Wacom buttons could somehow have a label that says what they've been programmed to. What is your project? What exactly are you trying to discover/learn/figure out? HTH - Nancy Last edited by Nasturtium; 03-13-2010 at 05:29 AM.

Re: How do you use your tablet with a keyboard? I use both, the keyboard and the Wacom. All I can handle with the left hand on the keyboard, I use. The some I need, and have to use two hands for, I have on the Wacom (like Ctrl+shift+F or Ctrl+shift+Alt+E). Some of them I also have in a panel I creaded with the Configurator. So I can use them with the pen if I'm nearly to them on the screen.
