| I have had my Coolscan 9000 since 2005 and used it a lot when converting many Kodachromes to digital files and I very much liked this scanner. Having not used it for years, I have connected it to a new 27" Imac to scan a medium format film assignment. Since I am running Snow Leopard and the Nikon driver is not available, I have purchased Vuescan, (as suggesested here) however, I cannot get Vuescan to see the Nikon. It sees my wireles HP scanner/printer and my wired Scanjet 7400c. My original concern was that perhaps the adapter for firewire 400/800 was not good. So I tried connecting a straight firewire 400 from the scanner to my Macbook Pro and the results are the same. The scanner is aware of the connection to the Imac because when the Firewire is connected, I have a blinking green light, however when I break the connection, the light glows steady green. Does anyone have any idea what I may be doing wrong? Thanks for any help you might have! Don |
