| Asking for advice on scanner I am considering buying a used Epson 4990 scanner. It has nothing with it but the scanner. It is said to work very well and is in good operating condition. The price about $100. Is this a good deal? Has anyone had experience getting this scanner working under Ubuntu Linux? I will be scanning 8x10 and 3x4 negs. Am I able to do this with ONLY the scanner?  |
