Temporary LCD / LED monitor on the cheap?

I'm away from my home setup for a couple weeks and I need something decent to do a bit of retouching and processing with. I'm hopping it will be relatively affordable considering I'm probably going to give it away on my departure.

I'm thinking an LCD or LED monitor. At home I have a 2 monitor set up and use a high end old school samsung CRT for the critical work (can't remember model sorry) .The thing I like about CRT is that the density and brightness does not change when the viewing height is altered.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a decent monitor with a relatively stable vertical density viewing field?
