thunderbolt to displayport

Any of you guys have a good thunderbolt to displayport option that works with Eizo. I'm on the CG243W, and some adapters have known issues. I was trying to find a cable that's a match.

Re: thunderbolt to displayport

Isn't it possible t connect a displayport monitor into a thunderbolt port using a mini displayport cable?

Re: thunderbolt to displayport

I forgot about this. I read about troubles with many of the dongles and some of the mini to normal displayport cables. I bought a PM200 cable from Eizo as it had the correct pin mapping to recognize power settings and it has the correct shielding like their other cables. Some of the others may work too. I didn't feel like messing with it after having read some of the reviews.

Don't try to shortcut and save a few bucks. Been there, done that. Buy a quality cable and avoid hassles. I bought a cable that has the displayport logo but it is poor quality and causing wake up issues with my monitor. I now wish I had paid $20 more just to avoid the hassle and time to return the first cable and go order another higher quality one.

I bought one directly from Eizo, labeled PM200. They are more expensive, but they work flawlessly.
