| Epson Perfection 1660 is Great Too I'm new here. Just noticed there didn't seem to be any messages about the 1660. I've had one several weeks and have been very happy with it. It includes a 35mm film adapter that can hold a strip of up to 6 negatives or 4 mounted slides. I've scanned many slides, some negatives and some prints. Fortunately most of my slides and negatives are very clean; I get great results with them. I've needed to do only minimal post processing. I have a collection with several samples on my fotopic site if anyone is interested. This scanner runs about $120. Good enough for me!            |
