Hardware - - Apple LCD for editing

I'm thinking of going to Apple for my new system. Tired of windows instability

Have read that LCD's or not the best for editing, all apple has are LCD's are the many stream of CRT's better that apples LCD's for photo editing? Any help would be nice

I use an iMac with an LCD screen and have found it to be fine for Image editing ... no problems whatsoever.

I use SuperCal for recalibrating the monitor as I prefer it to the Apple calibration software.

Thanks for info Wendy, I work with a dell laptop and donot have any problems, I bough the best one for laptops. Just tired of windows only working when it whant's to. and I don't see a improvment of it in the future. So Apple I'm A comming for you
