St. Louis Photo Dealer Query

I'm in the market to buy a new camera (looking to get a Nikon D70). What local vendors in the St. Louis market would you say is good to deal with? What are the ones you'd say to stay away from? Any advice would be appreciated.

The two local pro shops are City Photo on Hampton and Schiller's on Manchester. If I was going to buy locally it would be from one of them. But I almost always buy from bhphotovideo.com instead.

I'd gone to City Photo before as my Dr's office was close by, but they closed up shop a few years ago. I think a computer game store opened up in their spot. I'll take a look at the online store though - thanks for the tip.

It looks like City has repurposed and is now located at:

The City Photo Group
A.D. Brown Building
1136 Washington Avenue
Saint Louis, MO 63101

Their website is http://www.cityphotogroup.com/

The bottom pretty much fell out of the local retail photo market in the early 90s, as it did in most cities. My own company fell in the same shakeout (I was a wholesaler to camera shops in all 48 continental states).
