| HDR - ( High Dynamic Range ) Images From Wikipedia: "high dynamic range imaging (HDRI) is a set of techniques that allows a greater dynamic range of exposures (the range of values between light and dark areas) than normal digital imaging techniques. The intention of HDRI is to accurately represent the wide range of intensity levels found in real scenes ranging from direct sunlight to shadows."
Palms started a thread in the Software Forum for HDRI programs for people to show their results. Hopefully, some of us are working with, or wanting to start working with HDR images, and can post our experiences and examples here.
I've "been meaning to" start doing some HDR for at least two years, but haven't since I shoot mostly images of animals (which don't sit around for the next bracketed shot). I'm am going to do some HDR this weekend.
If some of you folks have already started working with HDR images, please post about your experiences, post some samples of your work, and talk about whether you have used Photoshop or a specialty HDR program. |
