Experimenting I took inside shots as i also wanted to make sure that a problem i was having was due to poor light ( getting banding down one edge ) That seems ok and as a added bonus i have just noticed buds on the poor cactus 1. original image 0.00 2. using the three images 3. using just one image Palms

Re: Experimenting Hi Palms, If U check the histogram of the hdr U can deal on witch is the best way, I agree with Pat the second one is nicely saturated I like this good composition. If U set EV at the camera that is not the same than set it by the software(IMHO). I've tried with a raw, I've had a shot (call it: opt). I made the opt -2EV by the camera as well and have checked to set the opt to -2EV at raw converter there was difference between them.

Re: Experimenting Palms - count me in for liking #2 better as well. Nicely saturated colors and a broader range. Nice image as a whole.

Re: Experimenting Palms, the shadows to the left of the oranges (tangerines?) are more pronounced and the wood in the knife holder is more saturated in the 3-image photo. Nice to see some of the variations possible.

Re: Experimenting Thanks for all your input, What surprised me was that there was not as huge a difference between the two as what i expected ( i expected the one made with one image and inputting the brackets would be more like the original ) Mind you when time allows i have some more experimenting to do C.J. they were Clementine's and with a bit more thought i should of turned the one on the right around and wiped the bit of soil off the pot Palms
