This is the result of my latest experiments.

I overlaid the lighter at 50% transparency over the darker one. I'll add the HDR created one to compare later. The second one went through an HDR program.

I ran them through Hdri and had a play here is the results ( angel is a bit dodgy must have had santa's sherry ) added a black vignette to the last one
