I thought i would have a mess around with this image from Morgue file using the single image in dynamic photo HDR
and this is what i got with a few of the different settings
1st is the original if any one wants to try it out for comparison

I used the software Dynamic photo HDR for this from Mediahance

They do have a trial version which give you a good taste of the what the full version is like

So really there wasnt a workflow as such just opening of the image and trying different settings out ( messing about with the sliders really, my favorite pastime )

I used the same one, pretty nice program. I just guessed at the f# and played with the sliders. Looks like it would be a good setup for paint effects. The trial version does a lot seems like. I have tried it a few times with a series of photos taken with automatic exposure bracketing, works great.

Palms. thanks for the link. I have tried the plug-in and played around with some annoying shots I took while being on a trip on a freeway. Stunning results, so I just purchased that plug-in :-)

@ Mining Art, that was my thought, too. Very dramatic pre-effects

Mining art nice outcome, Have you tried the full trial version ( you cant save a file), but it does have a"fake hdr" function which is what i used on these ( you dont have to enter values)

Amica glad you are getting some results, please post some for us to look at, still trying to work out the type of images that are best used, I would like to bet you have the updated version, i got my version for christmas so just missed out on it

Palms, why don't you try an get an update version...they state that future updates are included in the purchase...worth a try

I was also having a problem with closing the programme which has now been sorted

Palms, great, glad that you are happy now. I like the side as well, very responsive and they let you test before you buy. So, let's get creative :-)

Palms, I tried the full trial version several times, but will need to study it a little. I really like the results, even with really not understanding the concept fully.
