Those photos looked so much like they were illustrations to me at first with that surreal lighting- then I checked them out at their original size....wow, awesome work!

interesting shots, but they look very grainy when viewed at the largest sizes...

Yea it's strange that some HDR is so grainy. Couldn't be the ISO as that scene wouldn't need anything above 100.

Yea.. I have a huge problem with gain when I shoot higher than ISO 100 in HDR

maybe its photomatix and something close to dave hill effect ? becouse it looks like a paint...
