HDR contest

I was wondering how you all feel about the possibility of us having a fun contest based on HDR and/or tone mapping techniques?

How open to the idea are you?
Would you participate?
Do you think it is a lousy idea?

The holiday season is upon us with all kinds of opportunities to play with lights, shadows, colors etc.

I would provide the first set of images and people would take a crack at it trying to produce something that demonstrates the techniques and then it would be open for voting.

What do you think?

I'm open to suggestions...

Re: HDR contest

Sounds like a good idea. I don't have any HDR software but I'll give it a try with Lucis.

Re: HDR contest

Hi Everyone! I joined this site, I think 2 years ago but this is my first post—kind of ironic considering I love retouching.

I'm not sure if I will participate but I sure want to keep an eye on this thread. I just got done doing a month's worth of HDR's. I have detailed how I performed each as well. You can find them here: http://www.myfxjournal.us/ just follow the HDR link on the right side of the page.

And this is my portfolio website if you are interested: http://www.t-i-w.com
