Re: HDR image with flash light... Long exposure and flashlight(s) pointing at a refector that is reflecting back at the subject(s). This will provide lots of light everywhere and the very long exposure will make up for the rest. Put everything attached to stands as holding them may be a pain. My thoughts, -Keven

Re: HDR image with flash light... Sounds more like a technique called "Painting with Light" to me. Basically it consists of opening up the cameras shutter, "painting" the scene with some kind of light source, then closing the shutter. Years ago I and some friends took a photo of an aircraft carrier (which was tied to a pier) in the middle of the night, took a whole lot of flashbulbs, one at a time! But one can use something like a flashlight, just keep it moving, and do your best to remember where you have already "painted" and where you have not!

Re: HDR image with flash light... Or just run your single images thru Photomatix Tonemapping part. That will give you the look.

Re: HDR image with flash light... thx for advice ) "Painting with Light" does make sense...but by flashlight I mean photoflash ) not the electric torch )) I'll try.. Photomatix makes a picture with a lot of noise..((

Re: HDR image with flash light... Well if you can get the flash wide enough, try a long exposure and multiple test flashes until correct exposure. You could also try moving the flash into different angles, kind of like the painting with light. -Keven

Re: HDR image with flash light... Yes, you sometimes need to run a denoise program first. Heres from Stockholm marathon. Photomatix tonemapping plugin for Photoshop.
