I took this photo a few minutes ago on Seabrook Island near Charleston SC. +2, 0, -2.

For me the exposure is great, but the image itself to me is very busy. But I really think you nailed the three exposures.

Well it is busy. Lots of vines and moss and stuff. I had just started working with photomatix.

I do like it. I still am trying to learn how to use it properly. I sort of go through spurts of messing with it. So at my pace I should have it figured out by September if all goes well.

I like the fact that you stayed within conservative settings in Photomatix. The image shows enhanced dynamic range, I can see detail in the shadows, but it looks normal and I don't see any halos in the sky. I would say good work! If anything I would suggest just a little sharpening.
