Angel Oak near Charleston SC

This 1500 year old tree is quite a sight and hard to photograph also due to the large difference between the shadows and the highlights. I shot this yesterday with -2 0 +2 stops and ran it through photomatix.

Here are the three images I used to construct the photo. Actually I used RAW format and for this site I converted them to jpgs.
Next a screen dump from the photomatix application

Very nice Frank, I've photographed that monster tree many times over the years but using HDR solved the problem.
