Bohicket Marina

This was taken on Seabrook Island near Charleston, SC. I did not use a tripod. I've included the three photos of different exposures I used to make the HDR image. I used photomatix to do the tone mapping

That's really pretty! Love the lighting. i'm assuming the noise in the clouds isn't there in the full size? Nice shot.

Re: Bohicket Marina

Thanks Crazy fly. It turns out I had something on my sensor and some of the spots may have been birds. But there gone on the official print.

Re: Bohicket Marina

Philbach,

Very nice, non-tripod EDR. Thank you for loading your originals. I hope you don't mind me playing with them.

I did 3 things differently.

1) Corrected your originals for lens distortion and distance so that I could have more precise overlap in the final version. That gets rid of a lot of the ghosting.
2) Used Essential HDR Standard to do the tonemapping. It happens to be my favorite TM tool in standalone.
3) Adjusted some of the color balances and histogram in E-HDR prior to save.

and 4) ruined the image by making it small and compressing the heck out of it to post it here...sorry about that.

Thanks again,
Dean

Edited: Added a more saturated pic as well. I noted more sat in yours when I went back.
Edited...again: Added a pencil/marker version...I liked the pic
