Taken in low light in auto mode, 0 -.7 +.7 The first is 0, the second is the hdr after the first few steps.
hdr, pulled contrast just before extreme
noise redution
darkest image dark mode 48%
normal image color mode 48%

It did give the image some pop, but a long way to go to reach his effect.

I have many HDR, i can do his style so easy, but really i think he is going more as the painting look, mine at least have that unrealistic or surreal look and not painting look in most of my HDR.

I agree with you tareq. I've been doing HDR for quite some time and this is how my images looked when i first started and was intrigued by the 'painted' or overdone tonemap look. This is however not great HDR as great HDR is very realistic and the only way you can tell its HDR is that the subject seems to pop more at you and seem 3D, not flat like the images here. However it's what ppl like, this is not realistic at all but if you like that look, then by all means.
