sure. I have only used PS for a month and only 5 nights of learning how to do hdr so theres lots I have to learn and could be doing things wrong.
open jpg , change the mode to 32 bit , change back to 8 bit this will give you the local adatation , play with levels. Then make layer , adjust shadow/highlights , then levels , then hue saturation , then merge layers and use smart sharpen.

Re: one image try out anyone ?

here is my result

used Photoshop
castle
steps:
1)duplicated image change blending to "overlayer"
2)duplicated again and change blending to "multiply" (on top of the overlay layer)
3)created new blank layer
4)use eyedropper to pick the sky color and darkened the color (so it was dark blue)
5)then filled in the blank layer with dark blue and change the blending to "color dodge"
6)then just a little play with levels

did near the same for the other image but use dark green for the "color dodge" layer
