Re: Small railroad bridge to play with

Hi Frank,

Sorry it took so long for me to see this. Since this was my first post I didn't have email notification set, plus it was my birthday today and I was not in for the whole day.

Thank you for the compliment and I have to say, I came in from some other way onto the forum so I didn't know I was on a HDR thread. Even though I knew your shot was HDR I somehow came directly to it. Just learning how to get around a little.

It's a beautiful setting and great fun to play with. My workflow was, that I used number two and only under the bridge on number three.

I did not use a standard HDR workflow as I've been doing scenics for so long now before all the HDR workflows and software came to be.

So it was pretty standard stuff, except I love to add touches of accent colors like some blue in the water and shades of different greens in the leaves along with some blue in the sky. It's a beautiful spot and really has some great colors that POP really nice.

Here is one of my websites http://www.ladair.com if you are interested to see some things I've done. One of the more interesting things to check out is the 3D section. For the last couple of years I've been heavily involved in 3D Art Prints and in the last 5 months, the technology has come around so that I can now people in 3D and it is really getting exciting.

Thank again Frank and nice meeting you.

LaDair

Re: Small railroad bridge to play with

A bit late but here's what I came up with using Essential HDR and a bit of Photoshop.
