I looked at the code in the actions and couldn't figure out the Action Name. Can anyone out there find the name of the action that you need to call in Elements for these Actions that I attached?
What Danny says is true for actions run with the actions player. If you are attempting to run single actions in Effects, naming is less of a consideration...but the actions can't be in one set--they have to all be in individual sets.
You might want to look at the actions whitepaper to see if that applies:
Thanks Danny and Richard! Interesting.....I did find gw for romance_lite when I looked at the atn file with a text editor and tried that for the name but it didn't work. I'll have to play some more.
Is it easier to run Actions with the Action Player or in Effects? Can you run some Actions in Effects while using the Action Player for others or does it have to be all one method only? I couldn't get the Underwater Action working in Effects, but was able to get it working by editing the HTML and using the Action Player. Was that because I had installed the Action Player? Now I have others that I can't get running with the Action Player....so should I give it a shot in Effects?
If there are multiple actions in a single atn file you will have to use the Actions Player. If there is one action in the ATN file you can more easily use the Effects method. You can use either or both methods.
