Question How to Remove Demo Stuff from Welcome Screen

Richard -
I installed the demo (hpa3.exe) to my Photoshop Elements 2 sw from the website a few days ago then when your HPPE2 book arrived yesterday, I auto installed (HPforPE2.exe) from CD in the book.

Do I now have to remove/reinstall or what to get the Welcome screen demo stuff removed? And I must admit that now I'm confused.

I printed the help files from site/ but do they depend upon a certain sequence of installation???

See example attached.

You don't have to remove anything. These tools were made to work together...there are a few things in the free set that you will NOT have in the tools from the book...and that is because I tried to make them distinct on purpose -- always a reason for those who are readers or not to visit the site!

So go ahead and install. If it is my stuff, it will play nice together.

OK?

Thanks - Richard

I found the Free tools/welcome screen "sample tools" in the "How To" Tab.
Guess the best thing now is to read the book!!!!

Great tool that Dynamic Image. Saved some lackluster digital images from the Recycle Bin.

I am glad you like the Dynamic Image tool ( http://hiddenelements.com/dynamic ) useful. It can really do a lot to enhance images that seem a bit flat, and retains detail while doing it.

You should enjoy the rest of the tools that much more!
