Mac vs PC versions?

I know that Elements 5 is not yet out for the Mac, but it should be before too long. Are there substantive differences in Adobe's versions of Elements for the two platforms (say, Elements 4 PC vs Elements 4 Mac)? Up until now, I've always purchased the Mac version because the Mac is my primary working machine (though I do own a PC, but it's not as powerful). Now that Mac has gone Intel, my next Mac will be able to run Windows natively (via Parallels) and it seems to me that I will have my free choice between versions of software for different platforms. Any reason to choose one over the other in Elements?

I presume Hidden Elements is identical for the two platforms.....right?

Re: Mac vs PC versions?

I don't think Adobe is doing an Elements 5 release for Mac specifically because of the intel chip. It is extra work for them to support an obviously dwindling market. I use both Elements 4 on Mac and on PC all the time, and while there are some minor differences, I wouldn't be too concerned with them--at least as far as image editing is concerned. There are some consumer features that were enhanced...I don't play with those much.
