PE4 and HP Photosmart C3180 All in One I would like to use Adobe Photoshop Elements 4 as my photo program but also have the recommended software that I installed when I bought the C3180. I would like to uninstall Photosmart Essential and Photosmart express, however, while I can Identify Photosmart Essential for removal I don't know which to check for Photosmart express.I am pretty sure that the HP solution center has to stay but I'm not for sure. I want to retain all the functions of the C3180 but as I said before I want to use Photoshop elements 4 instead of HP. Can anyone help me out? This may seem like a funny request as I am not getting very far anywhere else. All I want to do is bypass the HP software that is installed and use PE4 as default.

Re: PE4 and HP Photosmart C3180 All in One Please accept my apologies for this thread, I fixed it with a custom install. Please remove this thread from the forum, no need to waste peoples time looking at it.

Re: PE4 and HP Photosmart C3180 All in One I think this is a valid thread. Perhaps better in the Elements area, rather than here which is specific to my books and tools. If you are on a PC, the program manufacturer should provide an uninstall routine -- often these are included with the program installation. Just look in the program folder for something called uninstall. Custom installation often has these options -- as you found.
