I've been doing this for years now, but I guess I must be more of a PC novice than I thought. I've tried several times to install the
Free Hidden Power Tools for Elements 2, but with no luck. I've searched the forums, but haven't found a clear answer.
After clicking on the HPFT2.1_pc.zip file found on the FPT site forwarded by email from
The Hidden Power Elements 1 & 2 Tools Downloads page, I chose to 'Open' the file. I read the readmedo.rtf file as directed, then I double-clicked the .exe file. I browsed to the Photoshop Elements 2 program folder for the destination since that's the only location suggested by the readmedo.rtf file. That location was also suggested by posts here and on hiddenelements.com. Was that the correct destination? That was my best guess given the information I could find.
The readme.rtf file didn't open after installation and I didn't find the Hidden Powers logo on the Welcome/Start menu.
After restarting my PC, I didn't find any new tools in my Hidden Powers palette window (How-to palette). I also didn't find the 'Action Player' on the 'Other' tab as suggested in the readmedo.rtf file.
In the Photoshop Elements 2 program folder, I've found the readmedo.rtf file and the HPE3.exe file, but I'm not going to do anything further until I get some feedback as to what I should do next.
Help please.
