Accessing Gradiant Editor ‘Set up is complete. Open the Gradiant Map layers by double-clicking them in the Layers palette and adjust the Color Stop positions to make adjustments to your duotone.’ So I assume that when I double-click either of the Gradiant Map layers the Gradiant Editor should launch. However all I get when I do this is a panel giving the name of the layer. How do I access the Gradiant Editor please? Tony

Re: Accessing Gradiant Editor Tony, Be careful to double click into the rectangular icon of the layer in the layer palette, otherwise PSE thinks you want to rename it... A new dialog opens (title gradient map) Then double click into the black to white swatch to open the dialog editor. (I hope Richard Lynch won't mind my try to help you...)

Re: Accessing Gradiant Editor Thank you, but something is still awry on my setup. I have two layers - titled ‘Gradiant Map 1’ and ‘Gradiant Map 2’. Each of these layers contains two rectangles - one titled ‘Layer thumbnail’ and the other ‘Layer mask thumbnail’. In either of these layers double-clicking ‘Layer thumbnail’ just produces the Gradiant Map screen already encountered several times in the process. One can either select OK or Cancel. Double-clicking the ‘Layer mask thumbnail’ does nothing. I do not appear to be be able to open the Gradiant Editor from either of these layers. Tony

Re: Accessing Gradiant Editor Unfortunately I can see no such rectangle. The layers from the top are: Spot 1 Color Gradiant Map 1 Spot 1 Gradiant Map 2 Black Composite Background Where should the rectangle 'Gradient used for grayscale mapping' be amongst these? Incidentally, many thanks for your efforts to assist. Tony

Re: Accessing Gradiant Editor You should have this layers palette. Then if you click on the layer thumbnail (little Black/white circle), you should have the dialog you mentionned. In this dialog, double click on the rectangle... The gradient editor dialog should open then.
