Elements 6 Free Tool Release

I've had these available by email for a while, but finally updated the hiddenelements.com website. The free tools are available and so is thee action installation white paper. I hope to come out with more shortly.

Re: Elements 6 Free Tool Release

While I bought your book and used the E4 tools, I tried to use the E6 tools and find the instructions seem to indicate a different directory structure under Vista than what is in my new installation. When I get some time I will try to puzzle out what goes where, but for now I am stumped.

Thanks for the tools, I found the old version very useful and hope to get E6 tools working on Vista soon.

The instructions define th path you need to use for installation. Are you suggesting the path is incorrect?

Hello - First I am a newbie to the whole editing of digital photos, I've been using elements 6 for about a month on Vista & I'm doing good if I can add a frame LOL. I at first thought that the folder path was incorrect but then I realized that I had been following the same path as I had been for installing new brushes & the sort through the 'ProgramFiles' instead of going through the 'ProgramData'. Maybe this will help any other users who are hastily trying to go through the installation!

Re: Elements 6 Free Tool Release

The instructions I have provided should have paths for both Windows and Vista.

Yes, I was able to install the actions in VISTA without any problem.
