HPPE upgrade to PSE7?

I recently purchased Hidden Power of PSE 4, but have now upgraded PSE to version 7. I'm asking myself whether R Lynch will soon be planning a version of Hidden Power for PSE7 - does anyone know?

The free tools will be out in November. Currently writing a book (photoshop) that has a November deadline.

No need to wait for the free tools since the old ones from version 6 work in 7 as well. There are just 2 small differences: all files go to one folder "Photo Effects" (instead of two in PSE6) and before you copy the xml files, rename their extensions from .xml to .metadata.xml. All other steps are the same as in the installation instructions.

The reason to wait would be that I'd want to change some of the processes perhaps...but likely the tools will work as stated.

From a quick perusal of the features in PSE version 7.0, I don't see that much significant difference from version 6.0. I also noticed that Adobe does not provide a reduced upgrade price, indicating they think the "new" program is more than just an incremental upgrade. Is there anyone who can comment on whether upgrading would provide enough improved functionality to justify paying full price after recently purchasing version 6.0?

It is my humble opinion that upgrading for the purposes of image editing will change very little for you. Adobe wants to treat Elements like a product made for people who are snapshot oriented and otherwise too busy to care. They add 'do-it-for-me' tools rather than taking the product or their audience seriously.
