Installing Power Tools

Hello,
I just got your Photoshop Effects package. I installed it according to your instructions. But, It doesn't appear in Photoshop. All the files .xml,.atn,.png appear to be in the right directory.
I use Vista SP1, Photoshop elements 7.0. The only thing which could be a problem is the fact that I use a French system and French Photoshop. So, the Mediadatabase.db3 file is located in the fr_FR subdirectory and not the en-US one. However, a new .db3 file is effectively recreated.
Thanks for your help
Charles

Re: Installing Power Tools

You have to move all the files to the french directory equivalents. I can't tell you what those are as I do not have a French version of the program.

OK?

Richard

Re: Installing Power Tools

Richard,
Thank you. The files are at the right place. In fact the path is the same for the files and I can find the standard elements 7.0 effects there. The same for the .db3 file but for the french/ english difference. They seem to be at the right place. I mentionned the directory as it was the only difference I could find out between your instructions and my system. Are there references to the directory in your files ?

Charles

Re: Installing Power Tools

I was told by the developers at Adobe that the part of the code that locates the files to load is smarter now and looks in more than one place...but I didn't necessarily believe them ;-)

But no, I do not have any references to different language folders -- Adobe must have handled that as they suggested they would.
