backing up downloaded tools

Having enhanced my Elements 2 with the tools contained in the book "Hidden Powers of Photoshop Elements 2, I went on and bought the additional "mend tool" which was sent by e-mail in the form of a zipped folder.
In the event of a system crash. I have discs for Elements and the main Hidden Power tools but the "mend tool" refuses to be backed up onto disc.
I can understand why this may be, copyright protection, but I would like to back it up just in case.
Can anyone tell me how to do this.
Thanks, Norman.

There is no reason that the files cannot be backed up on to CD. You will probably have to consult the users manual for the CD burning software. An alternative would be to zip the installation files and burn the ZIP file to CD.

OK?
