Polaroid that shrunk in flood

I have the only picture of a man with his son. It shrunk due to a flood. I need to figure out how to straigten image back out or lift image from paper to transfer . Any help, suggestions, or words to the 'unwise' will be greatly appreciated.

Trying to repair the photo digitally is going to be impossible without a good size/high resolution scan of the image... Since here you are only allowed a 100KB attachment, I would advise you to use a Free Image Hosting site... here the results I got from a Google search for free image hosting...

I'm also going to copy this Thread to the History, Conservation, and Repair Forum as someone there might be able to help you in repairing the actual photo.

In any case, and particularly because it is "the only picture of a man with his son", I would definitely recommend you to make a good scan of the photo before attempting anything else!!!
